Engage your little learners in Place Value with a range of hands on activities and worksheets, covering 2 digit and 3 digit numbers. There are 26 pages altogether to download (pdf) with topics covered in the primary math curriculum, including, digit value, tens and ones, hundreds, tens and ones, comparing numbers, expanded number sentences, partitioning using a part part whole, missing numbers, problem solving and number representation.
Most of the activities also include a blank template if you want youngsters to generate their own numbers. There are also some enlarged copies of activities so you can add valuable resources to your next math working wall or bulletin board.
The activities have been designed for first and second grade, Year 2 and Year 3 math and include a creative aspect, with an Autumn theme. These would be suitable for math centers, interventions, independent work, display work, homework ideas and display work.
