This resource is an eight page PDF document with activities to do based on the book Awesome Emu by Gregg Dreise. This document contains six worksheets for students.

The activities allow the students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. There are comprehension questions, vocabulary actitivies (comparatives and superlatives, adverbs and synonyms) plus reflection questions and a worksheet labelling Australian birds.

There is a double-up of one worksheet. On one version the pictures are in colour and the other version has black and white pictures for those teachers that do not wish to print in colour.
