Disclaimer: I am not a historian! This is based on my memory from school and a lot of research to refresh my memory. It is simplified to fit in one lesson and is aimed at MFL teachers for cultural awareness. It is made completely from scratch.
This resource includes:
- the history of French revolution summarised in simple animated slides
- an explanation of the French flag
- how the French celebrate the 14th July
- a lot of teacher notes to provide guidance and allow you to devleop (or not) on some ideas and answer questions that pupils might have
- a storyboard activity
*** 2 versions - one in English with key words in French and one fully in French!**
