This lesson worked really well with year 9, engaging them during the pattern drawing element of the task, and then teaching them some basic photoshop skills as a follow up lesson (using the worksheet).
Students design a pattern page, you then need to scan their drawings ready for the following photoshop lesson where they add colour and further patterns.
One tip - get students to press fairly hard in pencil or go over designs in pen so the scanner can see them clearly!
