✏ Don’t you just love it when students somehow, despite all your best efforts and planning somehow still find ways to NOT finish their work with the time you allot for it? Yeah, me either, but what I hated even more was having to hand write notes home, generally post-its, explaining that the student needed to finish their work and why they did not finish. These notes have really helped me these last two years to better communicate with my families about their child’s incomplete work and get the work back. For me especially teaching in a dual language / dual immersion classroom these have been great for communicating with families from both my English-speaking and Spanish-speaking family groups about incomplete work.
