A fun matching activity in 3 styles. Match the terms about books (author, blurb, index etc) to their meanings either by using the colour or black and white cut out cards (designed in a random order to let the students do the cutting without getting the answers!) or on a standard worksheet where they just draw a line between the terms and their meanings. Written for entry level ESOL or literacy learners as a starter for a lesson on reading, books or types of text, I find it works well as an introduction to books when starting on library work, books reviews or reading schemes,
