Car on a ramp - Practical Sheet

This resource is a four-pages pdf. file outlining the investigation for determining the relationship between the height of a ramp and the velocity of a trolley at the bottom of the ramp. This document contains the aim of the investigation, the list of apparatus, an original labelled diagram of the experimental setup, a detailed step-by-step method, a complete table of results, tasks on error propagation and calculation, as well as a graph and a data analysis sections (both with questions for students to answer). This resource was designed for IB students, but can also be used with A Level students.

A docx. file was also included should you wish to adapt this resource to IGCSE or GCSE students (the error analysis part is not required at this level and can be therefore eliminated, but other than that, this practical is definitely appropriate to this younger age group too).
