Challenges - An Assembly

Imagine losing a sense - is that worse than never having it in the first place? Edwin’s VSO story as a Deaf teacher/ambassador starts this off as an inspirational experience. Act of Collective Worship / Assembly then moves on to mention famous challenges from the likes of Disney, Keller and Churchill . Less famous challenges including two boys walking through their Cystic Fibrosis awareness and the story of Bilal through BBC website link as he battles his own personal demons. Also includes a lighthearted list of challenges people may have attempted - eg Cream Cracker and Ice Bucket Challenge. Popular format for use as a whole school and/or tutor time delivery complete with slide by slide notes.
