Christmas Crafts for the Classroom

A wonderful, creative way to decorate your room for the Holidays with these Christmas Lanterns. With 7 different lantern templates, let your kids choose the one they like. There are Christmas and Non-Christmas themed lanterns to choose from.

These units are designed in a Mix and Match format. You are able to pick the pieces that you want, depending on the needs and the abilities of your students. There are so many different possibilities.

Each lantern creation is designed with a printed lantern template and the choice of several Christmas greeting for the Holidays. This is a great activity to keep the kids busy while practicing fine motor skills, coloring, folding, gluing and especially cutting.

So many ways to decorate the lantern trims using glitter, paper layering, leaves, fake snow, shredded paper, cotton, tissue paper...

In my classroom, creating the basic lantern will take my kiddos about 90 minutes (coloring and assembly).
