The whole class can be given the same card so that all children are looking out for the same behaviour or they can have a mixture of cards so that they are looking out for different behaviours. I hand these cards out in the morning and we talk about the behaviours that we are going to be spotting and the children keep the card on their desk throughout the day and when they spot another child displaying the behaviour then they write that child’s name on the card. At the end of the day we then share the cards and celebrate those children who have been spotted doing the right thing. These cards encourage children to think about and look out for positive behaviours whilst also engaging in positive behaviours themselves. Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage One children.
