I have written five climate change stories with accompanying story resources such as play scripts, songs and cross-curricular activities. I hope they help you to teach your children about this difficult subject in a fun way.
The stories are inspired by articles from the National Geographic magazines, ensuring that the information about climate change on which they are based is accurate and current.
The resources are designed to last for half a term.
The second story is called “A New Home.” This is a story about deforestation in Uganda in Africa and the affects this is having on chimpanzees who live in the forests there.
The story also deals with more general themes such as love, fear, tolerance, and compromise.
These resources are ideal for curious young minds that love a good story and want to learn about their changing world.
Hope you enjoy using these resources!
