I have written five climate change stories with accompanying story resources such as play scripts, songs and cross-curricular activities. I hope they help you to teach this difficult subject to your children in a fun way.
The stories are inspired by articles from the National Geographic magazines, ensuring that the information about climate change on which they are based is accurate and current.
The resources are designed to last for half a term.
The fifth story is called “Toms and Bloomers Save the Day.” This is a story about fertilizer pollution in the five Great Lakes in Canada and the affects this is having on the lakes’ ecosystems and biodiversity.
The story also deals with more general themes such as tolerance and compromise.
These resources are ideal for curious young minds that love a good story and want to learn about their changing world.
Hope you enjoy using these resources!
