This resource contains a 60-slide PowerPoint lesson on coordinating conjunctions. The National Curriculum English Programme of Study requires that pupils be taught to use coordinating conjunctions (for, and. nor, but , or, yet and so) to link two words or phrases together as an equal pair.
The PowerPoint clearly explains what the co-ordinating conjunctions are and provides many examples and opportunities for pupils to identify and use co-ordinating conjunctions. The PowerPoint also contains a link to a short video on coordinating conjunctions.
