KS1 worksheet activity; children roll the dice and depending on the number rolled, they will add either ‘er’ or ‘est’ to the end of the words in the table - creating either a comparative or superlative adjective. Turning a dull subject into something a bit more fun!
I used this with my mixed Year 1 and 2 class during a formally observed lesson and it went down amazingly! Great warm-up activity before getting children to write their own sentences with comparative/superlative adjectives. Children worked in mixed ability pairs to complete (a child of each year group).
