A PowerPoint slide with 10 pairs of fractions to compare, with children asked to use the =, < or > sign for each pair. The slide is set with a 3 minute timer, and the following slide gives the answers for self or peer marking. A useful starter or plenary activity for upper KS2 classes, which gives practice of using common denominators.
