Act 2 Scheme of Work Macbeth GCSE

Here is everything you need to teach Act 2 of Macbeth. Specifically written for the new spec AQA English Literature GCSE but equally applicable to other exam boards. The complete scheme of work for the entire play can be found here.

This scheme contains full lessons for each and every scene of Act 2, with each lesson containing a range of interesting and engaging activities to develop and deepen your students’ understanding of the text.

The scheme contains differentiated success criteria and tasks, full analysis for all scenes and teacher notes to guide you through the teaching of the lesson. Homework tasks are also included with the scheme. The lessons will require little to no adaptation and all the resources you need are included.

At the end of the scheme there is a mid-point assessment lesson also included, as you may wish to assess their understanding of the play so far, in addition to practising those all important exam skills.
