This resource contains an A3 size poster and an A4 size memo mat detailing the seven co-ordinating conjunctions (with compound sentence examples) using the acronym FANBOYS. The National Curriculum English Programme of Study requires that pupils be taught to use coordinating conjunctions (for, and. nor, but , or, yet and so) to link two words or phrases together as an equal pair.
