Designed to be used at either KS3 or KS4 students take on the role of a British civilian who joins the BEF in WW1 and answer a series of problem solving questions in character. The role play allows students to learn about recruitment and trench warfare in an interactive, competitive game simulation, followed by questions to see what they have learned about fighting in WW1 e.g Diseases in the Trenches.
