Custer's Last Stand, Battle of the Little Bighorn

Why did the Battle of the Little Bighorn end in a decisive victory for the Native American forces led by Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse against the 7th Calvary commanded by Lieutenant General Custer? This lesson and activity examines the background and impact of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Students will analyze documents and answer corresponding scaffolding questions.
