CVC Short Vowel bundle. Worksheets and bing games for short vowel practice

This bundle includes 5 worksheets (with answer keys) where students identify initial and ending consonants of cvc words that include one of the short vowels. All words are three letters, there are no consonant clusters. All images on the worksheet are in black and white for easy copying.

There are 5 different bingo games for each of the 5 vowels (a,e, i, o, u). Each bingo set includes 16-20 short vowel cvc words featured on the worksheets. The worksheets can be done with students before playing the bingo game to give students a reference sheet where they can find they words written in their own handwriting.

There are cut outs of the cvc words on the lists for random selecting.

30 bingo cards are included with each bingo game, enough for an entire class to participate. This set could be used for a small group center activity, with one student calling out the words.

Marker pieces are not included in the set, but anything could be used…from counters to pebbles.
