This unit of work is a complete unit which would be ideal for Computer Science KS3 teachers or non specialist. It consists off

6 PowerPoint slides
each slide includes DO NOW task
6 worksheets
1 end of unit test with answers
1 knowledge organiser
Printable malware matching card game
1 A3 end of topic revision sheet

The lessons are as follows:

Lesson 1: Cybercrime and strong passwords
Lesson 2: Types of malware
Lesson 3: How to protect against malware
Lesson 4: Types of hacking and the Computer Misuse Act
Lesson 5: Secure websites and the dangers of free Wi-Fi
Lesson 6: Revision – A3 worksheet
Lesson 7: Assessment (40-50 mins suggested)

Everything is editable apart from the Knowledge organiser.

Each lesson starts with a 5-10 minute DO NOW task and ends with the answers to the worksheet. Each lesson has 1-3 learning objectives. The worksheets can even be given as homework or completed in lesson, They can be marked by teacher or green penned with answers on slides.

I would aim this towards year 7 and 8 although it could be also used by year 9 at a push.

The A3 revision sheet is designed to be filled in by students at the end of the topic and would also make a good cover lesson.
