This D&T and Textiles cover work/cover lesson worksheet focuses on Typography; and is suitable for KS3 and KS4 students. This worksheet can be delivered by a specialist or non-specialist as part of a cover lesson. The tasks focus on sketching a range of different display fonts. Followed by sketching the student’s school name using a Typography font of their choice.

The following tasks are included:

Task 1: Replicate the typefaces in the boxes provided below. Using a pencil lightly mark out the letter. Take notice of the curves or the straight lines of each. Take pride in your work.

Task 2: Write the name of your school using a Sans-Serif or Serif font. Example fonts have been provided below.
