A set of two lessons following Des jeunes réfugiés Dynamo 3 Module 3.3. Lessons begin with a cultural element - students summarise what an ‘Oud’ is and listen to some of it’s music . Lesson progresses by reviewing differences between tenses using a word quilt followed by a reading activity and a jeapoardy game and a paired speaking activity with success criteria . Students are then reminded how to form questions through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities, a GCSE style role play with student friendly mark scheme and an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self assessment.
