This is a board game that I made to encourage students at KS4 to use the present tense to describe a picture where in English we would use the present continuous. It is based on the 80s board game Home You Go.

Students can work in pairs/fours to play the game.

Each team will need a dice and six counters each.

Students may need to have some understanding of the formation of the present tense first or be well drilled in key verbs. The game also contains other useful photo card language too.

The activity lasts between 10 -15 minutes.
