Description of entering a workhouse - includes dialogue and setting

Linked to the New National Curriculum English and Grammar outcomes for end of KS2 so suited to year 5 or 6 but can be modified to suit Year 3 or 4. This can be used to see how to write a setting description, where dialogue is also used to move the action/story on, by picking out which features to use - also includes a variety of KS2 punctuation and Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 spellings.
