Intended outcome for the 6 week unit of work:
Pupils will design and make a toy using mechanical cams.
They will investigate existing simple automata toys and other mechanical toys. They will evaluate them and look at how they work. Using this knowledge, they will design their own prototype – edit and improve it, then present it to the class. They will consider buyer and use of the product in their design. They will then make their final mechanical product.
6 week plan is included and all of the flipchart slides for the 6 lessons.

The resources are good and good links to youtube made and clear to follow on the PDF version of the powerpoint, a massive shame that the main powerpoint is a flipbook file therefore I cannot access it, could you suggest a programme that would be able to open it?
Awful resource- The flip file doesn't open- the power point only has a title slide and the word file can't be edited. Could I arrange a refund please?!
The flipchart file won't convert onto Smartfile (It says it is unable to convert- no issues with other files) The pdf only has one page with 'What are mechanical toys?' on it and the Word file will only open in protected view as it says there is an issue with the file.
