Developing chronology skills EY to Year 6

Here is a scheme of work for developing chronology skills aligned with the English National Curriculum, spanning from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Year 6. This scheme outlines progression in understanding time, sequence, and historical awareness, with five practical classroom examples per year group. Each stage builds on the previous one, gradually increasing complexity and depth.
