Students have a solid understanding of DNA replication when clear, annotated diagrams are used. The concept of the leading and lagging strands is frequently revisited in the classroom upon request, yet students often remain uncertain. I subsequently utilised this particular diagram to explain the process, and it made the replication of the lagging strand crystal clear to the students. I hope you find it helpful as well. Feel free to tailor it according to your syllabus and enjoy the teaching experience. AP Biology teachers & students may also find it beneficial.
