FORM: POETRY (CINQUAIN)
PURPOSE: TO ENTERTAIN
AUDIENCE: PARENTS (VIA PERFORMANCE POETRY RECITAL)
A 1 week unit (4 lessons) looking at cinquains. The final outcome is a poem to be recited at a parental engagement event. Short and sweet, this is a good unit to revisit word classifications with.

- All documents are in PowerPoint and the font used is Twinkl (available from Twinkl’s website if you have a subscription). If you do not use this font, there will be formatting issues.
- Starter activities are ‘back to basics’ - recapping KS1 objectives.
