Earth Day Earth Week diary

Two differentiated versions - younger and older Pupils.

Pupils become responsible environmental citizens and improve their Geo-literacy skills at the same time with this Earth Day weekly Diary!

The booklet has been designed to be used by pupils as a part of their Earth Day celebrations. Encourage your pupils to continue the Earth Day activities away from school and take vital messages home. Importantly, this will allow your pupils to take their Earth Day learning home to share with siblings and parents.

Younger pupils: requires the students to draw their daily exercises and, if required, write a few lines to accompany their illustrations.

Older pupils: contains 'I can...' statements for the pupils to work towards, section to write daily experience, section to write how they helped the environment that day, section to list what contributions they made towards the 3Rs.

This diary can also be used as part of your classroom work - afternoon activity, reflection time, informal assessment, as a daily 5-minute filler or a week-long Earth Day homework project
