EDL European Day of Languages Jigsaw Display

EDL, European Day of Languages, Language Awareness, Mother Tongue Day - Jigsaw Project Activity: Create a jigsaw puzzle as a result of this wonderfully rewarding project. Each student illustrates their links with other languages in order to contribute to a puzzle display. This project is ideally run as whole school initiative although it can also be completed as part of Language Awareness lessons in Modern Languages or PSHE classes.

Included in this pack:

• 13-slide PowerPoint Presentation to introduce this project to your school in assembly or in tutor time
• A4/letter format template sheet with explanations for students
• A4/letter format document with templates for edge pieces

The following 4 documents need adapting to your school and event. READ THEM CAREFULLY to find the ‘SPACE FOR SCHOOL LOGO’ and ‘SCHOOL NAME or EVENT NAME currently shown in brackets’. You will need to REMOVE THE BRACKETS and ADAPT THE WORDING.
