Included in the resource:
-
15 circuit component information sheets (2 per A4 sheet)
Including component name, electrical circuit symbol and it’s role in an electrical circuit. Examples: fuse, switch, bulb, diode, thermistor, resistor, battery etc . . . -
A student information collection table
Used to gather the information from the sheets in one place. Students are advised to fill in the table as far as they can, then use the information sheets for assistive learning.
This resource is ideal for a student focused approach to teaching electrical circuit symbols. I print off the information sheets and stick them around the classroom. Students can then roam around with their collection tables and fill them in as they pass each information sheet or ‘collection point’.
Practical, keeps the students engaged and no further preparation required. Just print!
