Elements Color-by-Number

This product is a color-by-number activity that allows students to complete statements related to elements. And YES- even secondary students love to color!

Some terms/concepts included:
proton
neutron
electron
locations, charges, and masses of the 3 subatomic particles
nucleus
electron cloud
chemical properties
atomic number (is the same at the number of protons)
chemical symbol
periodic table
metals (basic properties of)
nonmetals (basic properties of)
metalloids (basic properties of)
atom
group
period
elements
compounds
where most of the atom's mass is located


This could be used as a quick assessment, a homework assignment, extra credit, or for early finishers.
