So many people struggle with low self-esteem and this can lead to being very anxious. Feeling good about yourself and believing in your own abilities are really important skills to master. Having high self-esteem and confidence is like having a strong foundation that helps you cope with challenges and navigate life’s twists and turns with a sense of inner security. Empower Me aims to give people the boost they need to achieve this sense of stability and self-belief.

Inside Empower Me, you’ll find a range of gentle activities to help your child discover the unique strengths and talents that make them shine. Throughout the book, they’ll get to know themselves a little better, boost their confidence, and understand just how awesome they truly are.

It’s a space where they can celebrate their successes, big and small, and learn to appreciate the incredible person staring back at them in the mirror. Hopefully they will find they really connect with some of the ideas and can carry them forward with them. Your child can use the journal as often as they like. They can either work through it in order or dip in and out of it as they please. Some of the activities will work better in the day and some are ideal for bedtime, so they should keep this in mind when planning their journal time.

Empower Me will take your child on a journey to a more confident and less anxious version of their incredible selves!

What age is the Empower Me Journal suitable for?
Our age recommendation for the journal is approximately 8-18 years. However, we always say that ability is very subjective; what will be right for one child won’t necessarily be right for another of the same age. It may well be suitable for younger or older children depending on their personal situation.

The tasks can be completed to your child’s own level. We would expect older/more able children to work mostly independently, in more depth and detail. Younger children may record responses as pictures rather than words. They may respond verbally and have answers scribed for them or work as part of a team with an adult. Our packs are designed to be accessible to a large age range and this resources is totally appropriate for adults too!
