Endothermic and exothermic reactions

This resource is aimed at KS3 students and is useful as it covers the following learning objectives...

• Identify energy changes as exothermic and endothermic
• Describe that during chemical reactions, surroundings may increase or decrease in temperature
• Explain the characteristics of exothermic and endothermic changes

There are differentiation opportunities for lower and higher ability (check the green challenge questions). I have also included feedback boxes, in which you should put students names to keep individuals engaged and ready to learn and feedback.
