Gamified! is my NEW resource series on TPT. Through incorporating play into the high school English classroom students are motivated, stimulated and supported to develop the skills, concepts and language they need to succeed.

The English Olympics is a revision strategy that prepares students for Paper 1. Divide your class into teams, let them dress up, take them outside and watch them have the time of their lives prepping for their exam.

It reinforces the skills of:

• working with an unseen text

• critically thinking under pressure

• revising literary techniques and aesthetic features

• identifying theme in an unseen text

• writing thematic statements

• crafting effective paragraphs quickly

This is a standalone PPT which can be used to revise the skills needed for Paper 1 responses, as it is aligned with the IB Diploma Syllabus.
