This is a lesson plan to introduce or review passive voice in the context of a weather forecast. Students review be verbs and past participles. They reorder a short written weather forecast using the same verbs. They then answer true or false questions to check comprehension. Following this they examine the form of the passive and use it in a controlled way. Students are then asked to complete concept checking questions. The final task is a freer practice activity to create a weather forecast in pairs adhering to the linguistic success criteria.
