The first half deals with exam anxiety and stress with practical advice as to how to deal with it. Explanation of Cognitive Affective Behavior Cycle and how to use this understanding to help. Lots of practical advice to manage anxiety including; breathing, affirmations, visualisations and lifestyle tips. The last half is about practical exam technique tips. 10 most common exam technique mistakes and how to avoid them. Plenty of pictures and my year groups have found it really useful. i think timing is everything with this one though. Don’t use it too early or too late. It needs to be delivered just as the year group are starting to feel the pressure to be the most effective.
