There is a wide variety of ‘Explain why…’ questions included with the content covering the entire course. This activity encourages knowledge retrieval and recall of the key features of the key features of Anglo-Saxon and Norman England, with a focus on causation and reasons for.

I use this resource for homework throughout the GCSE course and for revision practice so students can practice a number or ‘Explain why…’ questions in a shorter amount of time. This type of sheet has also been useful for after school revision sessions, and school holiday interventions.
