Writing frame are designed to help students complete long answer exam style questions effectively. This had provided a lot of success with these in the classroom and when tutoring and has given students a lot of confidence when answers such questions in the future. This can also be used as a revision tool, if students practice planning/writing answers using these, this could help them to remember to do so in their exams. This has been used cross-curricula not just in my subject.
