A great set of tasks introducing the concept of emotional expression through art. Linked to color theory Aimed at years 6 or 7 it out lines ideas for work sheet based tasks which could be expanded into more involved painting tasks.
Tasks as listed

1. Primary and secondary color wheel.

2. Match feeling words with shapes.

3. Draw shapes to match the work example: sad

4. Four drawing prompts for expressive images using appropriate colors to convey the feelings.
   5.Extension drawing task- Now make a picture using colors and shapes that tell a story of how you were feeling on a day you felt one of these feelings.

5. Help sheet with images to further assist weaker students and a guided task for students needing additional frame work to understand the concept.
