First Week at school PSHE activities

Set of 7 PSHE powerpoints and resources for the first two weeks staring school.

The sides are based around books including, The Invisible String’, Owl Babies, Our Class is a Family, This is the Bear and the Scary Night, Peppa Pig at school, Happy Birthday from the Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Family Book. You do not need these books - YouTube links are given if needed. The slides are to support approx 10 minute carpet inputs which then have a follow up activity or craft. They are designed to help children transition into the school life.

Included is also a set of 6 illustrated class rules: One voice speaks, good sitting, look and listen, choose it, use it, put it away, kind hands and kind words. Each rule card has circle time stories, activities and games on the reverse to help embed the rules over the course of the first few weeks.
