This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Cambridge KS4 curriculum and looks at fisheries and aquaculture. Students will already have an understanding as to why fisheries exist from the previous overfishing lesson but will now look into the advantages and disadvantages of this ‘more sustainable’ method. Students will explore issues such as increased fish waste, disease and the morality of these farms.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
