Lesson 2: The Five Roots of Shia Islam - 'Usul ad-Din
This lesson has been re-designed for Spring Term 2020. It is for 1 hour with my year 10s but can easily be adapted to a double lesson.
Due to only having 1 hour, I have created an information worksheet to go along with the Powerpoint slides so the students can focus on thinking skills rather than knowledge. I wanted my students to have a comprehensive information resource to use for their revision so we can focus on skills of analysis and evaluation within the lesson.
I have based this lesson on the Edexcel endorsed textbook written by Waqar Ahmad Ahmedi. Students will not need this textbook to complete the lesson but I wanted to make you as the purchaser of this resource aware.
