Fractions (GRADE 4)

Students use their fraction math skills to discover where the Forgetful Pharaoh left his Scepter in Ancient Egypt! They will be required to reduce fractions to lowest terms, compare fractions, create equivalent fractions, add and subtract fractions with LIKE denominators, and convert improper fractions to mixed number fractions. (GRADE 4 US Common Core Aligned)

There are 5 clues to crack to solve the mystery:

Clue 1: Reducing Fractions to Lowest Terms
Clue 2: Comparing Fractions (Mixture of like denominators and numerators and some unlike!)
Clue 3: Equivalent Fractions with denominators of 10, 100 and 1000
Clue 4: Adding and Subtracting LIKE Fractions (simplifying answers required)
Clue 5: Convert improper fractions to mixed number fractions (simplifying answers required)
