Friendships Inquiry Unit

This 6-7 week Who We Are (IB PYP) inquiry unit will help learners develop empathy, tolerance and good communication skills within friendships. It can be easily adapted to suit your own class/school and includes:

• transdisciplinary theme, central idea, lines of inquiry, key concepts and questions
• approaches to learning (ATLs) and learner profile focus
• agency and action ideas
• assessment - before views, formative, summative, self-assessment and peer.
• detailed learning experiences and provocations
• wellbeing and mindfulness activities
• connections to other subject areas
• resources with some links
• learning goals and assessment criteria examples.
