Functional Skills - Maths - The Snack Machine

These worksheets have been designed and proven to educate learners on a variety of subjects that will enhance knowledge, creativity, individuality and embed valuable functional skills.

The resource can be used effectively in Maths/Tutorials sessions and enables learners to demonstrate various skills and subtly embeds many of the Functional skills as are necessary for assessment.

It is suitable for Entry Level 3/Level 1 (although lots of scopes to differentiate within the tasks and an Editable Word Doc is Available).

In this particular resource learners are set a selection of tasks based on a snack machine image. They are required to answer open questions, perform various Mathematical calculations and determine true, false or unknown information.

Included is an extension task where learners can then design their own snack machine using different items, prices and locations using the templates provided.
