This set of resources comprises of 1 information sheet covering all of the key chemical compounds and molecular ion formulae that students require for the AQA, OCR and Edexcel GCSE Chemistry exam boards.
It also comprises of 10 further worksheets (ranging from easy, medium, hard) which allow students to be tested on their knowledge of the key chemical compound and molecular ions within their course.
This task is ideal if you are wishing to set a homework task that can be easily marked by the staff member or better yet, encourage students to self/peer-assess within the classroom.
Personally, I set the homework as revision from the information sheet. The students then complete the homework task within the classroom as a 10 minute starter activity, which is then peer-assessed.
