GCSE Chemistry - Daily Recall Tasks

This resource is a powerpoint containing 10 recall tasks with answers (20 slides in total). They were designed for the new GCSE Edexcel Combined Science spec (Chemistry paper 1) but could also be used with the GCSE AQA trilogy spec.

Each recall task contains two questions, a starter task and an exam question. The starter task is designed to scaffold and give students support before completing the exam question.

This resource is very versatile and can be used in many different ways. I have used this resource with my class as daily homework that is posted on google classroom for Y11, it could also be printed out or displayed on the screen in lesson. They could be used as a starter or exit ticket to assess understanding. or they could also be given out periodically to other year groups to ensure students are remembering key knowledge.
