Learning Objectives: To investigate the extent of poverty in Elizabethan England, and to understand reasons for poverty and attitudes to the poor.

• Inflation and the economy
• Agricultural Problems
• Closure of the Monasteries
• Attitudes towards the poor
This is then written into an answer which would be a similar answer to explain or write an account style exam question.
The mystery clues are presented as a grid format and then the worksheet is them in the correct order.
This is updated to include a table for a shorter lesson and an exam question which is more fitting to the new AQA format.
